Third World Craft Nepal(TWCN) was established in 1999 AD by Narendra Shahi with a tiny set up of small investment. He was working before with prominent Nepalese Non profit organization (Nepal Charkha Pracharak Mahaguthi)that was supporting Tulsi Mehar Mahila Ashram generating income to support women and children. Because of his long term involvement in fair trade , Narendra thought he could multiply his experience to support the needy artisans thus, TWCN came into existence. TWCN started with small number of producers grous now has showcased products from 90 groups and sells both from local shop and online store.
